Factsheet, English, 9 pages

Summary

The main objective of the ongoing “Durable Solutions for Collective Centre Residents” (DuSoCC) program is to provide durable housing solutions for CC residents: creation of accommodation by reconstruction or rehabilitation of destroyed or damaged private houses (mostly in rural areas) and social apartments (in urban areas). Since the start of the program end of 1999 about 344 housing solutions for 1210 persons have been realized. In the same time the number of CC residents dropped from 11’000 to 2’600. To be able to join this program, the beneficiaries have to fulfil criteria of vulnerability.
