Summary
Report of visit made in January 2012 by Guillaume Roux-Fouillet, architect at CCR (Centre de Compétences Reconstruction) in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The aim of the visit is to explore the traditional construction techniques in the perspective of seismic / cyclonic prevention in rural and/or remote areas, by visiting various building sites implementing different construction techniques. The visited projects are implemented by Concert-Action, an haitian NGO supported by CRATerre and Misereor.
