Summary

The Tellewoyan Memorial hospital in Voinjama was built in 1957 and expanded in 1977. In 1990: end of activities due to the war. In 1997: Some refection done and operated by MSF. In 2000: end of activities and destruction. The project objective is that Lofa county has a ready to operate hospital infrastructure, witch will improve the quality and accessibility of Health Care services in the county. SDC plan was to implement this project over a period of one and half year, with medical activities to take place over three phases. Finally, the activities effectively started after the second phase.
