Based on an architectural competition and on the initiative of SDC and the Department of Basic Education (DBE), a new pilot project was construction to be a showcase for future standard double story school infrastructure in the specific region of Shan state in Myanmar. The project was funded through the SDC project: Safe and Child-friendly School Construction Guidelines in Myanmar.
